day one - here goes nothing

I have decided to have a go at Project 365 and we'll see how it turns out. It took me a while to decide to give it a try and I must admit I never imagined I'd do it in a blog (who can believe I've created a blog ... well, Pete created it for me!), so I'm thinking that I will eventually turn all of this into a scrapbook and document this year of my life on paper. We'll see.

I really wanted to start this project with a picture of myself and end it with a picture of myself, and this is the best picture I could get today, so it will have to do! It's actually a picture of me sitting on the couch starting my blog so it's significant to the project (at least that should justify why I chose this picture!). I'm excited to see what pictures I can come up with and how creative I can get, so here goes!
