hockey granny

I'm cheating a bit with this photo because I didnt' have my camera with me today (Thursday) and the battery in my phone is dead so I couldn't use that for the picture, so I actually took this picture on Mother's Day but I'm using it for my May 7th post.

As it was Thursday, mum came to babysit while I went to work. She brought Granny and they decided to play hockey with the kids. Granny was the goalie and, according to the kids, she was a good goalie. No one is quite sure what happened but Granny fell head first onto the concrete at the bottom of our stairs. Peter had to call the ambulance and Mum, Granny and myself spent the rest of the evening at OT Hospital. Granny required 4 stitches to her head, and a cast on her left arm. There may be a broken bone in her wrist so they are just taking a precaution and hopefully she'll get it off tomorrow. Thankfully she is just fine and was in good spirits the whole time. She's also been banned from playing hockey with mum and the kids!
