some winter fun

Today we had a little bit of snow and the kids and I got to test out their new sleds. We just decided to use the slope in the backyard and it was lots of fun. It was so great to watch them going down on the sleds and just laughing. We then decided it would be fun to toss snow at Charlie (notice I said toss as it's sounds nicer than throw!!) as he really loves the snow and loved having it "tossed" at him. Finally, to round the afternoon off we headed out front to "shovel" the sidewalks for everyone (note the quotes around shovel) as I'm not sure if the kids actually moved any of the snow off of the sidewalks or just moved it around, either way it was great fun. We ended it all with a yummy dinner of soup and grilled cheese.
