no chores today!

It's a beautiful day today, and it's nice and warm in our backyard. Meghan and decided that after our nice long walk with Charlie (we stopped at the park and taught him how to go down the little slide!) we would sit on the deck and colour and read. Of course, Charlie joined us.

After a few minutes of Meghan colouring and me reading (does it count as reading when I have my eyes closed?) Charlie decided get up and play in the dirt and come back and share it with us.

As if that wasn't enough, he decided we didn't need a blanket after all and he tried to make off with it.

The blanket ended up inside and Meghan and I reclined on some chairs instead.

We're taking a break from the sun right now for a quick tv show and some snacks, we're headed back outside when we pick Dylan up and so this means that the long list of chores I had planned for today will not get done. There's always tomorrow or the next day, but today I'm going to enjoy the great weather and spend some quality time with my babes!
