gardening is hard work

As both Saturday & Sunday were pretty much dedicated to gardening (with the exception of the kids soccer games on Saturday morning) I'm doing one entry for both days.
The sprinkler system is in the final stages of completion so we decided to get the plants into the ground and build up the garden beds, and Pete wanted to top dress the grass. We had 7 yards of triple mix delivered ... yes, 7 yards. We had lots of help thanks to Mark & Gen (she was in charge of Meghan), the Wards, the Knezs and the Dias'. Maria watched the boys while George helped to bring the dirt to the yard. It went a lot quicker than we thought and although we'll be living in mud for a while and the beds aren't finished, I'm feeling pretty excited about how it will all turn out and I must say that even though it's not in full use yet the sprinkler system RULES!!
